Lake Karuwha residential subdivision, Otaki. We assisted in preparing documents for planning approvals, and provided safety audit services. | |

Driveway on State Highway 2, Kaitoke. We investigated traffic issues and applied for a new access licence from Transit New Zealand (now New Zealand Transport Agency). The project involved relocating and upgrading access to a rural lifestyle property. |

Mitre 10 Mega, Upper Hutt. A new large-format retail centre has been developed in Park Street, Upper Hutt, with Mega, Briscoes and Big Save Furniture stores. Barclay Traffic Planning carried out traffic surveys, analysed traffic effects and prepared a traffic impact assessment for the resource consent application. The project team included Urban Perspectives (planning) and CGM Architects (architecture). |

Appleby Village. Appleby Village Development Limited will shortly start construction on a major art and crafts centre, based on the existing Grape Escape tourist village near Richmond, Nelson. The site is on State Highway 60 at an intersection with a serious accident problem, and Appleby and Transit New Zealand are cooperating to upgrade the intersection. Barclay Traffic Planning provided technical support during discussions with Transit New Zealand, and prepared a traffic impact assessment for the resource consent application. |

Kilbirnie cycle path.
We carried out investigations into cycle route options at four sites in |

Hutt City Council planning assessments. Provides specialist traffic and
parking advice to Council in the assessment of resource consent applications
(ongoing).
